Chilliwack Neighbourhood Welcome Program
Moving to a new community is exciting, but it can also be overwhelming. The Chilliwack Neighbourhood Welcome Program was created to help new residents feel at home faster by connecting them with trusted local businesses, community organizations, events, and resources.
Each month, Welcome Packages are personally delivered to newcomers who have recently moved to Chilliwack and the surrounding area. Every package is filled with gifts, special offers, local information, and community resources generously provided by local businesses and organizations.
The goal is simple: help people discover local businesses, build community connections, and encourage them to shop, support, and get involved locally.
Today, the program partners with a growing network of businesses representing a wide range of industries, from restaurants, to home services, health professionals, recreation, financial services, non-profits, and community groups.
Are You New to Chilliwack?
If you've moved to Chilliwack or the surrounding area within the past 12 months and are 18+, you qualify to receive a complimentary Welcome Package.
Are You a Local Business?
Local businesses and organizations are invited to become Welcome Partners by including a gift, coupon, or promotional item in our monthly Welcome Packages. It's a unique opportunity to introduce your business to new residents and build lasting relationships from day one. Please email: chilliwacknw@gmail.com for partnership rate and an application form.
