2nd Annual Hope Slough Paddle & Clean Up

Join Watershed Watch and the Friends of Camp-Hope Slough on our annual canoe tour and clean-up of the Hope Slough. We'll be celebrating the Blueway Access plan the City of Chilliwack just passed!

The Camp-Hope Slough is an underappreciated waterway, impacted by diking infrastructure and affected by poor water quality. We want to see it restored! We will be removing garbage as we paddle and taking time to appreciate this local gem.

Refreshments and clean-up tools will be provided. Please wear appropriate clothes for the weather, and bring a pair of gloves.

CANOE RENTALS: We are working to provide canoes for attendees. If you'd like to reserve a canoe or a seat in a canoe contact Lina Azeez, lina@watershedwatch.ca. Rentals are at a cost of $20/canoe.

You are welcome to bring your own canoe, kayak or paddle board.

Come out and support your community, the Hope Slough, and the salmon.
