Hosted by the Fraser Valley Invasive Species Society (FVISS) & Trinity Western University – The Knotweed Lab
Since the 2021 floods, the spread of invasive Knotweed plants has increased throughout the Chilliwack-Vedder River.
Join us for a FREE walk along the Rotary Trail and learn more about this invasive plant, how to identify it, and its impacts to our local environment. We’ll also be able to hear about ongoing Knotweed research from Trinity Western University’s The Knotweed Lab and other study work that has been happening in the river since the 2021 Atmospheric River flooding events!
Saturday, August 30 – 10am-11am
Upcoming
Saturday, September 13 – 10am-11am
Space is only limited to 15 people per day so we don’t take up the entire walkway, so register today!
