You are invited to Launch Stories on Tuesday, September 15. We will be talking to Tony Dehnke about building a profitable digital business and being a digital nomad.

Tony Dehnke opened Driven Audio in Abbotsford in 2010 and grew it into an award-winning car audio shop before selling it in 2017. After a successful exit, Tony took what he learned and created a digital scheduling and management product called 12v.Biz to help car audio, tint and 12-volt shops across North America book jobs, protect their shops and keep customers in the loop.

Tony says, "I built this product because the 12v industry deserved better than paper scratch pads and "he said, she said" damage disputes. It’s the software I wish I’d had in the bay — nothing you don’t need, at a price a shop can actually justify."

He started hacking on the project a decade ago while attending the weekly ChilliHack sessions that we used to hold at Cowork Chilliwack. Tony is now a digital nomad and runs his company from his laptop from Asia and Europe and comes back to Chilliwack for a couple of months a year.

We will explore Tony's career and lessons learned along the way.
