Theme Inspired by Films, Wizard of Oz and Wicked
This year’s Yarrow Days theme, There’s No Place Like Home, draws inspiration from the timeless stories of The Wizard of Oz and Wicked.
From ruby slippers and yellow brick roads to friendship, courage, and community, the theme celebrates the feeling of finding where you belong.
In a world that moves quickly, Yarrow Days is a reminder that home is more than a place — it’s the people, traditions, and small-town connections that bring us together year after year.
Friday June 5th
5:00pm-dusk: Yarrow Farm Market Early Bird sales of Yarrow Days apparel & memorabilia, Pioneer Park, 4390 Kehler St @ Yarrow Central Rd
6:00pm: Fun Run 2k walk and 5k run routes. Run starts at 6:15pm. Ends at north end of Kehler St, Yarrow Community Centre, 4670 Community St.
Saturday June 6th
8:00am-12:30pm: Show & Shine, Yarrow United Mennonite Church, 4336 Eckert Rd
8:00am-10:00am: Free Pancake Breakfast. Donations gratefully accepted for local charitable causes, Canadian Reformed Church. 42285 Yarrow Central Road
10:00am: Parade. Leaves Yarrow Community School ***Road closure in effect***
11:00am: Opening Ceremony, MC: Grant Sigaty, Yarrow Pioneer Park, 4390 Kehler St
